One of the enduring themes of warfare is that of the guerrilla army pitted against a conventional one. On the one side are logistics, fire power and numbers; on the other are stealth, surprise, and the
uncanny ability to disappear at will. This game, set in China in the years 1946-49, reproduces just such a conflict, as the Nationalist army and its warlord allies try to stem the growing power of the People's Liberation Army. Whether as
the irregular leader committed to defeating a conventionally superior foe, or the conventional commander determined to prevent the triumph of the Reds, the game will demand all your skill.
