The Campaigns of Frederick the Great:
The Seven Years War - $28.
This game recreates the incredible war of maneuver in which Prussia rose to the rank of first-rate power and its warrior-king
gained the title "Great." Fought between 1756 and 1762, the Seven Years War was one of parry and thrust rather than frontal assault. In a period of shifting alliances and evolving military technique, leadership was the key factor.
The game uses innovative command and combat systems, as well as an interactive turn sequence, to mirror the subtleties of 18th
century warfare. Other features include rules for: troop commitment, cavalry pursuit, sieges, forced march, etc. The map scale is 25 miles per hex, with 1,000 men per strength point, and two turns per month. No match will ever be won by
sheer numbers, only by skill.
