Heavy Weight Boxing $40. Published in boxed form by Excalibre Games in 1979, this a two-player sports game of professional boxing strategy. Each player manages the fight strategy of one of the great heavy weight boxers (contenders and champions). Many "what-if" bouts between the great fighters from different eras of the sport can now be resolved. This game is more complex than the typical Excalibre offering, and contains rules for: endurance, knockdowns, injuries, tournaments, rope-a-dope, solitaire play, hay makers, stuns, clinching, head butts and much more. Two die-cast, 3D metal boxing figures are included, as well as a 14 page rule booklet, one 21-card deck of champions, one 21-card deck of contenders, numerous charts, tables and record sheets, one die, and a thick cardboard boxing ring. |
